Color Measurement Solutions
Color measurement is the most important requirement for managing color. It is crucial for proofing, production profiling, process control and quality control. There are a lot of measurement devices out there and we can help you find the best instrument for your application.

Traditional Pressroom Solutions

Automated Chart Readers
We offer and support all automated spectrophotometers from X-Rite, Konica Minolta and Barbieri. They are each different in their capabilities and it is essential that you choose the right instrument for your application

Other Handheld Devices
There are a lot of lesser expensive handheld spectros that can perform a variety of important tasks including quality control, process control, spot color matching, or even profiling. Most of them don't have a screen and require a connection to a computer, phone or tablet. Also, some of them are able to profile displays in addition to print.

Spherical Devices
Unlike 0:45 spectrophotometers, sphere or "diffuse/8° devices have an interior that is actually spherical in shape. By employing a baffling of the light source and reflecting it off of a pristine white matte surface of the sphere’s interior, the detector receives the reflected light at an 8-degree angle from the object’s surface to accurately measure the color.

Plate Measurement
Platemaking process control requires the measurement of the halftone percentages. Platemaking equipment needs to be calibrated or linearized in order for tones to be reproduced properly. Whether for offset metal plates or flexo plates, we offer devices that can measure halftone percentages for platemaking process control.

Display Color Measurement
While some low-cost handheld spectros can also measure monitors for profiling, sometimes it is necessary to have a dedicated instrument for this purpose. Display measurement and profiling ensures that what you see is what you are going to get for your final product.
